Concert on the 12th September

A big thank you to Jayne Thomas who kindly organised a special concert at the St Andrews Church in Roath. This involved the Cwmbach Male Choir who entertained with classical Welsh choir songs and special guests – the Choir Roźenice from Croatia. They sang traditional Croatian melodies and then the choirs joined to sing two songs together.
This was an outstanding evening , really appreciated by the full house present at the church.

Please see some photos of the evening.

I also attach a list of forthcoming concerts – I would encourage you to attend

Cwmbach Male Choir this Wednesday.

This should be a wonderful evening, if your free this Wednesday (12th Sept) come along an enjoy  the wonderful sound of the Cwmbach Male Voice Choir, plus, special guests Choir Rozenice  from Croatia.  Ticket are £10 each and available on the door, all proceeds go to Faceup Cymru.

3 year old Oliver Hawkins walks for Faceup Cymru.

Oliver (3) has been inspired by his adventurous Grandma (former patient Joanne Hawkins) and wanted to climb some mountains during the summer holidays. We set ourselves the challenge of doing six in 6 weeks, Twmbarlwm, Skirrid, Blorenge, Sugar Loaf, Table Mountain and finally Pen y Fan.

Oliver walked every step of the way (without being carried) on all six of them, every single step!

If you would like to sponsor him for completing his challenge the link is below, it’s for a very special charity to us ❤️
